Features and Facilities

Thomastown Primary School is situated on large, spacious land that is home to a range of native Australian trees that are uncommonly found in the Thomastown area. We have continued to develop and improve our facilities to provide students with the opportunity to become modern 21st century learners.

Thomastown Primary School has vibrant, architecturally designed learning spaces that are well resourced with digital technology. Each classroom has interactive whiteboards, and each child has their own notebook. We value the inclusion of digital technology in education, but also support the need to improve handwriting, and each child receives their own supplies of pens, pencils, and notebooks. The mixture of modern and traditional learning allows Thomastown Primary School students to become knowledgeable independent and cooperative learners. Students also have the chance to enter a world of creativity through our wonderful library and multi-media centre, as well as our well-equipped art and craft room.

Our school has three synthetic sports fields, which enable basketball, netball, bat tennis and soccer to be played all-year round. There is also shaded passive play areas and three playgrounds for students to enjoy.
