COVID-19 Update, 23rd March 12:30pm

Dear Families,                                                                                                                   23rd March 12.30 pm

I am writing with a further update and advice on COVID-19.

As you would be aware, the Prime Minister announced a number of measures over the weekend that all Premiers have agreed to, based on the advice from Australia’s Chief Medical Officer and Chief Health Officers of the states and territories. The advice for schools is constantly changing and we will keep you updated as soon as advice changes.

The measures at this stage are that we are transitioning to remote learning as of this afternoon, and the school holidays begin.

Learning will continue to be provided for students through the school web site (Click here). There are links for remote learning activities on our website to help support your children if they are at home, you will find it under recent news.

As a result of the latest directives and advice, we are implementing the following actions

  • Remote learning Packs have gone home for students to work through.
  • Remote learning activities will be assessed by staff.

We will continue to keep you informed about any further developments and do appreciate your understanding at this time.

These will be different school holidays, like nothing we have ever seen before. I hope the remote learning helps your family at this time, and stay safe.

If you have any further questions please contact myself at school ph 9465 2225

Yours sincerely,

Marion Wetherbee
